Night of Inspiration: We’re Having a Ball!
Step up to the plate for a night to remember!
Join us on Saturday, September 18, 2027 at Rockwell Park in Pittsburgh’s East End as we celebrate the kids and young adults affected by cancer who inspire us every day. This year we’re having a ball, and we want you on the team.
Together We Are Champions: A World Record Attempt
Together, we’ll attempt to set a world record for the largest mural made of baseballs. It’s a perfect picture of what Connecting Champions is all about. No child or young adult faces cancer alone, and something beautiful happens when a whole community comes together around them. One mentor, one champion, one supporter, one ball at a time: together, we are champions.
Inspiration Awards Ceremony
Our signature ceremony takes center stage as mentors and participants share how their champions have inspired them. These are stories of resilience, curiosity, and big dreams, and they’re the heart of everything we do.
Food, drinks, and great company
Enjoy our open bar with wine and beer alongside hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. Catch up with fellow supporters, mentors, and champions, and finish the night with a sweet treat from Millie’s Ice Cream!
