Oxford Classic Jazz pianist and crooner Nick Gill is joined by intrepid sidekick Caroline Watsham on vocals, percussion and a touch of ukulele (sadly the market is a musical saw free zone but Caroline will be plying her blade at other OCJ gigs soon!). Whatever the weather, this duo have supplied monthly musical delights at the market for over 10 years, bringing a spring to the steps of weary shoppers and delighting many a small child with their light and effervescent delivery of the greatest hits of the Jazz Age. Aside from excellent music, there is much to enjoy: enticing treats from food stalls, craftwares, plants, fish and meat and much more. North Parade also boasts two pubs, cafes and various independent shops.
