Need a little time to talk about your loss? NHS hosts a pet loss group that is free of charge and meets the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. You can talk, or just listen … and know that others empathize.No registration is needed. You are welcome to simply show up.
Our group facilitator is Kendra McCallie, who has been a mental health therapist for 25 years. She has experience working in hospitals, community health centers and now, seventeen years in private practice. She is an animal lover who has also experienced the loss of a beloved pet. She looks forward to bringing together others, who are grieving their loss, to share our stories and find support and understanding.
This group meets in the NHS Friends Forever room. Friends Forever is located inside the door nearest 90th street on the NHS campus, located at 8929 Fort Street.
