Newham Schools Sustainability Conference

Join us in person for the Newham Schools’ Sustainability Conference, a practical and inspiring day for school leaders who want to make a real difference. This year we will bring together key partners and community leaders alongside headteachers from across Newham to share practical approaches to building sustainable food systems in schools.

With a focus on food, the day will explore school meals, food waste, healthy eating and emissions, while showcasing innovative ways schools are using green spaces for food growing. You will hear real case studies from schools, take part in interactive workshops, and learn from sector experts, all with a strong emphasis on what works in practice.

The conference is also a chance to find out what council support and partner resources are available to help schools move forward.
