🚨 Attention, Newburgh! Something wonderfully unhinged is coming to town… 🚨Newburgh Community Theater presents The Poe Show — a delightfully deranged comedy that takes place inside an insane asylum (yes, really).
Picture this: a ragtag group of patients decide to stage an evening of Edgar Allan Poe’s greatest hits… and chaos, of course, ensues. Expect twisted takes on “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Raven,” and more, all served with a heavy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor and characters who are just the right amount of kooky.
It’s Poe like you’ve never seen him — equal parts gothic and goofy, dark and downright hilarious. Perfect for anyone who likes their comedy with a side of “wait… did that just happen?”
Come laugh, squirm, and maybe question your own sanity (in the best way possible).
