About this Event
Join the Newark Green Team for our Fall 2026 Community Tree Planting on Thursday, October 15!
We’re bringing volunteers together to plant trees and help grow a greener, healthier Newark. Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or planting your first tree, no experience is necessary, guidance will be provided on-site.
📅 Thursday, October 15, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
📍 Meeting Point: 480 Delavan Avenue, Newark, NJ
Individuals, students, community organizations, and corporate volunteer groups are all welcome. We encourage volunteers to stay for the full planting, but any time you’re able to give is appreciated.
What to Bring
Wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle.
