Get ready for an unforgettable NYC adventure! Enjoy a full day of sightseeing, shopping, dining, and exploring the Big Apple without worrying about driving, parking, or gas. We’ll handle the transportation—you make the memories!
November highlights: Arrival of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, many Christmas villages open, etc.
🚌 TRIP SCHEDULE
Friday Night
11:00 PM: Depart North Canton Church of Christ.
Overnight travel to New York City, with periodic stops for restrooms, stretching, and a final refresh stop.
Saturday
Approximately 8:00 AM: Arrive in New York City.
Enjoy a full day exploring NYC at your own pace.
9:00 PM: Board the buses for departure.
10:00 PM Depart New York City
Sunday Morning
Approximately 6:00 AM: Return to North Canton Church of Christ.
Arrival times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, and other travel conditions.
📍 IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION
Pickup & Return: North Canton Church of Christ.
Who Can Attend? Adults 18 and older may travel independently. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Children ages 6 and older are recommended. Unfortunately, the bus cannot accommodate car seats.
Church Membership: You do not need to be a member of North Canton Church of Christ to attend.
Your NYC Experience: Free time is yours! North Canton Church of Christ does not schedule attractions, tours, shows, or other activities for passengers. Plan your own itinerary and meeting times.
Fundraiser: Proceeds support youth events at North Canton Church of Christ.
🎟️ TICKETS & PAYMENTS
Standard Bus: $215 per person.
Tickets are sold online on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important: This is a rescheduled trip from September. We are attempting to fill seats that were given up by previous passengers.
Due to the late booking of this trip, full payment must be made at this time.
⏰ BOARDING & DEPARTURE
Arrive ready to board before the scheduled departure time.
Check in at the church building before boarding - your group will receive their seating chart, purchase last minute essentials, pay driver tip, and get help with communication.
We depart at the scheduled time. If you anticipate being late, contact your host immediately.
Passengers who do not arrive and have not contacted the host may be considered no-shows. No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
💺 SEATING & GROUPS
Seating is set on a standard seating chart to accommodate all passengers.
Contact us with special requests regarding seating.
If traveling with a group across multiple pickup locations or buses, notify us in advance.
🧳 WHAT TO BRING
Pack for an overnight bus ride and a full day in NYC!
Photo ID and wallet/payment cards
Phone, charger, and portable power bank
Medications (bring an extra day's supply)
Comfortable walking shoes
Weather-appropriate layers, jacket, and umbrella
Small personal backpack or tote
Neck pillow, blanket, sleep mask, or earplugs
Snacks and drinks with twist-off lids
Cash for unexpected expenses
Luggage limit: One suitcase stored underneath the bus and one personal tote or backpack per passenger. Label all bags with your name, address, and mobile number.
🚌 ONBOARD COMFORT & REST STOPS
Rest stops are generally scheduled every 3-4 hours.
Small, leak-proof coolers that fit at your feet are permitted.
Keep the bus clean and take your trash with you at each stop.
Seats recline; please check with the passenger behind you before reclining.
The bus temperature is generally set around 68°F, so bring a sweater or blanket.
Wi-Fi and electrical outlets may be available but are not guaranteed.
The onboard restroom is intended primarily for emergencies when possible, since regular stops are scheduled.
🌆 IMPORTANT: BUS ACCESS IN NYC
Once we arrive in New York City, the buses will be locked and unavailable during the day.
The driver will rest at the hotel, so take everything you need with you when leaving the bus, including medications, jackets, chargers, and personal belongings.
You will not be able to return to the bus throughout the day.
🍂 YOUR DAY IN NEW YORK CITY
Your day is yours to enjoy! Plan ahead for the attractions, shopping, restaurants, and neighborhoods you want to visit.
Before leaving the bus:
Know your evening boarding location.
Set reminders so you return on time.
Keep your phone charged.
Stay aware of your surroundings.
Keep valuables secure.
Share your location with a trusted person if appropriate.
The buses depart NYC at 9:00 PM. Do not be late!
🤝 TRAVEL COURTESY & SAFETY
No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or illegal drugs on the bus.
Be respectful of fellow passengers.
Follow all host and driver instructions.
Stay hydrated and be aware of your surroundings.
Save your pickup and return locations on your phone.
🚨 UNEXPECTED DELAYS
Bring an extra change of clothes, essential toiletries, medications, and some cash in case of significant delays or an unplanned overnight stay.
Travelers are responsible for their own accommodations and additional expenses if an unexpected overnight stay becomes necessary.
