About this Event
Come celebrate the long awaited release of New York City in Video Games 1986-1993!
New York City in Video Games: 1986–1993 is a cross-genre art book examining the relationship between New York and the games set in or inspired by the city. Through game imagery, print advertisements, reviews, photography, and historical material, it connects the end of America’s golden age of arcades with a period of major change in New York.
For one night, the book will be brought to life through original artwork, historical material, and playable games at Vitamin.
Admission is free. RSVP is recommended!
A limited amount of books and T-shirts will be available as well.
