PALAZZO RIPETTA

Palazzo Ripetta is an elegant historic building located in the heart of Rome’s historic center, a few steps from Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso. Built in 1672 by the will of Pope Innocent XI, the palace was originally established as the headquarters of the Conservatorio della Divina Provvidenza. In the 1960s, the building was purchased by the Ginobbi family, who entrusted the renovation project to architect Luigi Moretti, a prominent figure in 20th-century Italian architecture. Today Palazzo Ripetta is a luxury hotel, distinguished by a refined design that combines fine materials, custom furnishings, and artworks by Arnaldo Pomodoro, Burri, Scialoja, Lorenzetti, and other contemporary artists. Among the most evocative spaces—where the Opera e Lirica concert will be held—is the Salone Bernini. Originally consecrated in 1728 as the Conservatory’s church by Pope Benedict XIII, based on a design by Marquis Gerolamo Theodoli, this majestic 18th-century hall still retains its original structure: a spacious longitudinal nave, two side chapels, and high altar at the back. The ceiling is adorned with the fresco “The Triumph of Divine Providence” by Giacomo Triga, a student of Bernini which gives the environment an atmosphere of rare beauty and solemnity.

Preparatevi a vivere un'indimenticabile Notte di Capodanno lasciandovi trasportare dalle sublimi voci dei Tre Tenori con un repertorio senza eguali nel meraviglioso Palazzo Ripetta, edificio storico del 1600 dal design raffinato che ospita all'interno un’ex chiesa del 1700, il Salone Bernini, dove si terrà il concerto e diverse opere d'arte come quelle di Pomodoro, Burri e Scialoja.

Palazzo Ripetta è un elegante edificio storico situato nel centro di Roma, a pochi passi da Piazza del Popolo e Via del Corso. Costruito nel 1672 per volontà di Papa Innocenzo XI, il palazzo nacque come sede del Conservatorio della Divina Provvidenza. Negli anni '60, il palazzo fu acquistato dalla famiglia Ginobbi, che affidò il progetto di ristrutturazione all'architetto Luigi Moretti, figura di spicco dell'architettura italiana del ** secolo. Palazzo Ripetta oggi è un hotel di lusso, caratterizzate da un design raffinato che unisce materiali pregiati, arredi su misura e opere d'arte tra cui opere di Arnaldo Pomodoro, Burri, Scialoja, Lorenzetti e altri artisti contemporanei.

Tra gli spazi più suggestivi dove si terrà il concerto di Opera e Lirica vi è il Salone Bernini. Originariamente consacrata nel 1728 come chiesa del Conservatorio dal papa Benedetto XIII, su progetto del marchese Gerolamo Theodoli, questa maestosa sala del XVIII secolo conserva ancora oggi la sua struttura originale: un'ampia navata longitudinale, due cappelle laterali e un altare maggiore sul fondo. Il soffitto è adornato dall'affresco "Il Trionfo della Divina Provvidenza" di Giacomo Triga, allievo del Bernini, che conferisce all'ambiente un'atmosfera di rara bellezza e solennità.
