Join us for the closing exhibition of work by our October Artist-in-Residence, Chad Porter. Chad is a contemporary visual artist based in San Francisco who grew up in Pensacola before moving to the Bay Area ten years ago. Known for his hand-cut paper collages, quirky characters, and bold use of color, Chad is spending his residency at 309 exploring collage, hand-cut paper techniques, and photography.
Returning to his hometown, Chad has used Pensacola itself as both subject and inspiration, creating new work shaped by the places, memories, and visual landscape of the city.
