Trampery on the Gantry in collaboration with Club Culture presents ‘New Voices’, a Black History Month celebration. Join us on Friday 30th October for a curated lineup of artists and thought-leaders drawn from the local community and beyond. Club Culture is an international platform for emerging and established performers; crafting immersive, disruptive and unique events.

Stratford to Here East: The buses depart from Bus Stop X, outside Stratford Station/Westfield. During peak times, there is a TFL bus or Here East shuttle running every 3-5 minutes. Please plan your journey.

Currently on the line up is:
- - Monifé, a British-born Vincentian/Nigerian artist raised in East London, made her debut in 2019 with the smooth, soulful track Unreachable. Her follow-up, Can’t Fall Back, is one of her most popular tracks to date. In October 2021, she released her first EP, Love Language, a 5-track exploration of love and self-connection, which gained international streams, especially across Africa, Europe, and the USA. Growing up surrounded by music, Monifé was inspired by artists like Erykah Badu, Usher, and SZA, though she was initially shy about singing publicly. Her mother enrolled her in the Young N Gifted choir at 10, where she found her voice and confidence. A passionate live performer, Monifé has shared her music at venues like Kindred and Rough Trade. Her personal connection to music - using it to lift her spirits and channel emotions is exactly what drives her to create songs that resonate deeply with listeners.
- Greo - a Nigerian-born, London-based rapper, spoken word artist and storyteller whose work explores identity, migration, heritage and contemporary life. Blending rap, poetry, music and performance, his work moves between personal experience and wider conversations around culture, belonging, philosophy and the African diaspora. His recent work includes the Benin 2 London project, which he brought to the stage at Dugdale Arts Centre in 2026, combining live music, spoken word, dance and conversation. His work has been featured by Guardian Life and other publications, and he has performed across London while developing new work that continues to expand the relationship between music, poetry and storytelling.
- Wayne - Wayne Samuel is a spoken word poet, fiction writer, and creator. He’s the only consecutive winner of War of Words. And winner of the maiden edition of the LaCasera Spoken Wars slam. He’s been longlisted for The Island Prize and 2x for the Quramo Writers Prize in Fiction. His work’s been featured on the Global Fusion Music Arts stage, as well as the London Arts Services gallery. Headliner at the Arcadia Festival 2026, he is a part of the Crossword Lyrics 2026 cohort, and is a beneficiary of the Campus AFD, Trace Academia and University of Senghor KreAfrika program for creative and cultural practitioners..
- Cai Bellis - A display Cais' artwork will be shown at the event. Cai Arfon Bellis (b.1997) is an Artist born and raised in South London. After graduating from the Slade in 2019, he went on to study on the Royal Drawing School's Drawing Year 2022 where he was selected as one of the New Contemporaries 2023. His work has been displayed in institutions such as the Barbican Art Gallery, Camden Arts Centre and Christie's London and is held in several public and private collections including the Government art collection and the Royal Collection. His recent expansion into muralism has seen him design and lead large-scale public commissions for Lewisham Council and St Mungo’s, exploring community, movement and collective identity. Bellis’ practice delves into dance music subcultures and the vital role of London’s community spaces in shaping them. Rooted in his upbringing in South London's grime and jungle scenes, his work starts as on-site observational drawings, capturing the dynamic relationship between MC, DJ, and crowd. His gestural work is made through dance and captures the beautiful moment that occurs when a dancing crowd slips into unison, where the outside world disappears and the singular melts into the whole.
