(English below)New Music for Strings har 10 års-jubilæum!

New Music for Strings is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
For ten years, New Music for Strings has served as a meeting place for string players and composers from the Nordic countries and North America. We continue celebrations of the anniversary with three concerts in Oslo and Aarhus under the theme “Expanding Tradition, Imagining the Future”: new works from both sides of the Atlantic alongside works by the 20th century’s most prominent Danish composers, acoustic string music meeting live electronics, and one of chamber music’s greatest violinists featured as a violinist-composer.
