Let's embrace the fertile darkness of the Winter Solstice to go deep within and grow through self-knowledge. We gather under the New Moon in Sagittarius to embrace our adventurous spirit and bring that curiosity to our inner world.
Envision yourself surrounded by like-minded community, a warm cup of chai in your hand, a journaling activity for mapping your body followed by thought-provoking discussion questions to share with new friends, and then we close with a yummy yin yoga flow melting into a sensuous sound bath to integrate the wisdom.
Give yourself the space to explore the depths of your psyche by reflecting on your patterns and your subconscious desires. This is your invitation for an integrated Mind, Body, and Spirit reset to make intentional choices for the cycle ahead. Personal growth with community accountability is so much more fun. Meet your guide: Yadira "Yaya" Capaz
Yadira “Yaya” Capáz is a research-based artist bridging wellness with ecology. She is currently teaching yoga, nurturing a community garden, and telling stories from the world of solutions. Her zone of genius is producing workshops, retreats, conferences, and festivals on Leadership, Creativity, and Human Connection. She weaves together her explorations in art therapy, herbalism, the performing arts, somatic healing, earth-rooted facilitation, conscious play, design thinking, and much more to create intricate transformative experiences that function as modern-day rites of passage for her community. Yaya teaches Yin Yoga and Sound Bath every Wednesday at 7:30PM at Miami Life Center. Her research into nervous system resilience informs her practice, and she loves to share conscious tools people can take with them to live a life of peace off of the mat.
