A criminal record shouldn't be a life sentence to unemployment, unstable housing, or missed opportunities.Join Dream.Org and our community partners for a FREE Expungement Clinic to learn whether you are eligible to have your New Mexico criminal record sealed or expunged. Volunteer attorneys and legal professionals will provide free eligibility screenings, legal consultations, and assistance with beginning the petition process.
In addition to legal services, participants will have the opportunity to connect with organizations offering reentry support, employment resources, recovery services, housing assistance, and other community resources.
Services Include:
• Free expungement and record sealing eligibility screening
• One-on-one consultations with volunteer attorneys
• Assistance beginning the expungement petition process
• Referrals to employment, housing, recovery, and reentry services
• Connections to community organizations and ongoing support
This event is hosted by Dream.Org in partnership with the Clean Slate Initiative, New Mexico Re-Entry Center, (De)Serving-Life, Healing Roar(Unlock Civics NM), and the New Mexico Black Leadership Council.
