Experience familiar music in extraordinary new ways! At the heart of this program is Max Richter’s The Four Seasons Recomposed, a bold, contemporary reimagining of Vivaldi’s beloved masterpiece. Joined by works from Caroline Shaw and Curtis Stewart, the evening reveals how classical traditions can be transformed into something fresh, unexpected, and deeply moving.Acclaimed violinist and conductor Alex Gonzalez leads and performs with your Boulder Philharmonic in a celebration of the beauty and expressive power of live orchestral music. Poetry and the spoken word enrich the performance through a special collaboration with Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, while talented young musicians from Boulder Suzuki Strings welcome audiences with a pre-concert performance.
