Dear Parents and Guardians,We are writing to inform you of a change in how breakfast service will be managed at our school, effective Monday, November 2nd. These adjustments are designed to ensure a more organized, less wasteful experience and to maximize academic time. If you bring your child to school to eat breakfast, please have them arrive between 7:40 and 7:50.
New Breakfast Routine:
Students will not be eating in their classroom. Instead, students who eat breakfast will go through the serving line in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) to choose their breakfast items and eat together there.
Please note: Pre-K and some SLC classes will continue to eat breakfast and lunch in their classrooms.
Timeline and Schedule (Starting Monday, November 2nd):
The daily schedule for students eating breakfast is as follows:
7:40 am: Students in Grades 1-5 should enter the school through the recess doors and proceed directly to the MPR.
Kindergarten students should enter through the front door and proceed directly to the MPR.
Students will be released to their classrooms as they finish eating (after 7:50) and clean up their areas.
7:57 am: All students will have finished breakfast, cleaned their areas, and will be released to their respective classes.
Late Arrivals:
If your child arrives after 7:57 am, they can go directly to the MPR to pick up their breakfast and eat it in their classroom (with a time limit).
Breakfast will be available for excused late students until 9:30 a.m. on Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday- Friday.
