Join Pam of StudiOM and Roberta Torunsky of Healing Alma for a practice that opens us to new beginnings through a 75 minute practice combining the deeply relaxing postures of restorative yoga with the practice of Therapeutic Touch. This class will include 45 minutes of Pam guiding restorative yoga poses to gently calm, nurture and restore the body, mind and spirit while Roberta gently places her hands on or above energy centers or chakras to encourage a deep somatic sense of relaxation, alignment and renewed vital flow. The practice closes with a 30 minute Sound Meditation while participants rest in savasana.You are invited to bask in the glow of twinkling candle light, the warmth of blankets, and the support of bolsters and blankets.
This practice allows 15 additional minutes at the beginning for a brief explanation of Therapeutic Touch and the many benefits to individuals intrigued by the body's vitality and it's connection to a network of primary energy centers or chakras.
