Neurodiversity 101: Understanding Different Minds, Building Stronger Support
In Recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month
Join Pilgrim Christian Day School (PCDS) for a free, informative and engaging community workshop exploring neurodiversity and the many ways people think, learn, process information, communicate, and experience the world.
Ms. Jennifer Napoli, parent coach and mental health advocate, will lead a thoughtful and accessible discussion addressing questions such as:
- What is neurodiversity?
- What does it mean to be neurodivergent?
- How might neurodivergent individuals process information and experience everyday life differently?
- What challenges and strengths may be associated with neurodivergence?
- How can parents, educators, families, and communities provide meaningful and respectful support?
This workshop is designed to help increase understanding, encourage acceptance, and provide practical insights for creating environments where individuals with different ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world can thrive.
Whether you are a parent, educator, caregiver, family member, or community member, we invite you to join us for this important conversation.
