We are hosting a monthly networking event for quiet, sensitive business owners; a calm space where natural connections can be made.About this Event
We are hosting a monthly networking event for quiet, sensitive business owners. We recognize that quiet sensitive folks face unique challenges when building a business. Networking can feel emotionally taxing. Being socially outgoing is often seen as the only way to connect. We hope that this networking group challenges some of those pressures and instead creates a space of calm, natural connection.
Who can attend:
- If you relate to being a highly sensitive, neurodivergent, introverted, and/or anxious person
- You own a business that you’re looking to build. For example, solo practice owners, photographers, branding, bookkeeping, naturopaths, dentists, lawyers, massage therapists etc.
Format/Agenda:
- Arrive; name tag, get a tea, find a table
- Introductions
- Business building question and journal time
- Connect with other participants to share answers to the questions
- Final Reflections
Our hope is you can show up authentically. Some days you may want to actively participate, others you may want to just be present and listen. We hope this can be a place to form authentic and natural connections as well as find support from other sensitive, introverted business professionals. Please note, this is not a therapeutic group, but a chance to build connections with other professionals.
Bring yourself and your business cards.
Space is limited to 40 participants
Parking:
Please park in visitor parking. There is also free street parking.
Date: November 5, 2026

About Tracy
Hi, I'm Tracy and I'm a registered social worker who has been in private practice for 10 years offering therapy to other quiet people. I discovered that I was introverted and highly sensitive about 15 years ago and this helped me to understand why I often felt out of place in large gatherings and why I was left needing days to recover. I love connecting with poeple in settings that I can show up as myself and am excited to gather with others like me. I'm a single parent of three great young adults, fur parent to a lovely anxious dog and a very confident cat. I love getting outside and of course reading great books!
About Diandra
My name is Diandra and I’m a registered psychologist who has been in private practice for over 10 years. I am an introverted, black, highly sensitive person. I have first hand experience with feeling like the networking world isn’t for me because of societal pressure to perform a certain way. I like to continue to find ways to support myself as a sensitive person. I love good conversations, learning about people, and connecting in ways that feel genuine rather than forced. I enjoy crafting, reading, watching TV, biking, yoga, working out and spending time with friends and family.
