Bring your child/ren along to create their very own “crazy critter” dish, bowl or planter, that will be glazed and fired! (Lots of examples on hand). Purchase a coffee & cake/snack to support the Cafe ❤️ Queries:Wendy 0422137568During this fun pottery class, you and/or your child/children will learn how to create a beautiful clay crazy critter planter, bowl or dish, that will add a touch of whimsy to any space. The children don't need any prior experience in pottery to join this event, so don't worry if you or your kids are new to clay! We'll guide you through the entire process, ensuring that you feel confident and supported every step of the way. This class is super easy and suitable for all ages from toddlers to teens, so feel free to bring the tribe.
There is an expectation that ticket holders will purchase a coffee & cake/snack to support the venue for the use of the space ❤️
During the class, you'll learn how to mould and shape the clay, as well as various techniques for adding texture, detail, and personality to your Crazy critters. Use our examples as a guide, or create a critter unique to you. Then leave the rest to Wendy from Lil Miss Potty Mouth who will glaze and fire your creations so that they will be waterproof and durable to last for many years to come.
Working with clay can be a calming and therapeutic activity, allowing you to tap into your creativity and focus on the present moment. As you create your pieces, you'll find yourself immersed in the process, experiencing a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and deepening your parent-child bond through this fun and creative shared experience.
At the end of the class, you'll be amazed at what you've achieved and your family could have a cute collection of unique crazy critters to collect in 4-8 weeks time from the cafe.
