NEPEAN RIVER parkrun IS TURNING TEN!🥳 10 YEARS. 10,000s OF SMILES. ONE AMAZING COMMUNITY! 🥳
Save the date, rally your running buddies, raid the dress-up box and get those creative brains ticking, because Nepean River parkrun is celebrating its 10th anniversary! And you know what that means… it’s time for a FANCY DRESS parkrun! 🎭👑🦸♀️
📅 Saturday 14 November
⏰ 7:45am
📍 Tench Reserve, Nepean River
This year, we’re keeping the theme beautifully simple. Just one little number…
🔟 TEN! 🔟
But what does TEN mean to YOU? 🤔
The possibilities are practically endless!
You could be a famous number 10, a sporting legend wearing the number, a character from a TV show, a collection of ten somethings, or anything else your imagination can dream up.
If you can somehow connect it to TEN, it counts! The more creative, colourful, clever or downright crazy, the better. And no, simply turning up with ten pieces of toast probably won’t win you any fashion awards… but we’d still love to see it! 🍞🤣
❤️ But this celebration is about so much more than costumes and a number.
It’s about ten wonderful years of friendships, first finishes, personal bests, milestones, Saturday morning smiles, countless volunteer hours and a community that makes Nepean River parkrun such a special place to be.
Whether you’ve been with us since Event #1, joined us last week, walk every step, run every Saturday, volunteer behind the scenes or simply come along for the coffee and conversation afterwards, YOU are part of our story.
So let’s bring our amazing community together, celebrate everything we’ve achieved over the past decade, and make our 10th birthday a morning to remember!
🎉 Dress up. Bring your friends. Bring the family. Bring your biggest smile. And most importantly, bring the fun!
Let’s see what TEN looks like when the Nepean River parkrun community gets creative! 🔟🎈
Nepean River parkrun — 10 years of moving together, connecting together and making Saturday mornings better together. ❤️
Who’s joining us for the big TEN celebration? And, more importantly… what are you dressing up as? 👇😂
