The First Nepal Autism Summit 2026 will bring together educators, clinicians, government representatives, autistic self-advocates, and families for the country's first national forum dedicated to autism. It aims:
• To generate and publish the first primary evidence on how autism is identified and supported in Nepal’s schools and families, gathered directly from all seven provinces.
• To produce a set of national recommendations on autism in education, shaped through the day’s plenary and track discussions and publicly endorsed by a broad coalition of institutions.
• To establish a standing working group responsible for carrying these recommendations forward once the summit concludes.
• To place practical, classroom-level solutions alongside policy and systems conversation, so the summit leaves behind both a national agenda and guidance schools can use immediately.
