What if your breath could become a doorway into the deeper layers of your psyche?
Neo-Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful transformational method rooted in the pioneering work of Dr. Stanislav Grof and developed by James Frazier, who integrated it with Jungian and depth psychology.
Through connected breathing, evocative music, and an altered state of consciousness, you can enter into deeper relationship with the unconscious, where emotions, memories, symbols, archetypes, and unconscious patterns may emerge.
The experience can open space for profound emotional release, deep relaxation, expanded self-awareness, greater body connection, clarity around old patterns, and a renewed sense of vitality and wholeness.
You may encounter parts of yourself that have been hidden, reclaim emotions and energy that have been held back, and discover new perspectives that can change the way you understand yourself and your life.
Rather than simply talking about what needs to change, you have the opportunity to experience, encounter, and integrate what lives beneath the surface.
✨OUR DAY✨
Opening Circle
Welcome, orientation, intention-setting, and creating our container for the day.
Theory & Preparation
We’ll explore what Neo-Shamanic Breathwork is, what you may experience, and how the breath, body, emotions, and unconscious can come together during the process.
Music as a Guide
The music is intentionally chosen to support and guide the different stages of your journey. You don’t need to analyze it — simply allow yourself to listen, feel, and follow.
First Breathwork Journey
You’ll be paired as a Breather or Sitter. The Sitter provides a grounded, supportive presence while the Breather enters their own experience.
Mandala Drawing
After the journey, you’ll have time to express your experience through color, shapes, and symbols. No artistic experience is needed.
Lunch & Rest
Switch Roles
After lunch, Breathers become Sitters and Sitters become Breathers.
Second Breathwork Journey
Second Mandala Drawing
Short Break
Processing & Integration
We’ll come together to reflect on the experience and what may have emerged.
Closing Circle
We’ll close the day together and identify what you want to carry forward.
HOW TO PREPARE
For the day or two before, try to create as little stimulation as possible.
Limit processed foods
Avoid alcohol and other substances
Limit screen time
Get plenty of rest
Stay hydrated
Choose simple, nourishing foods
SET AN INTENTION
Take a few quiet moments before the event and ask yourself:
“What am I opening myself to?”
Write your intention in your journal and bring it with you.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You’ll be lying down for an extended period, so comfort is important. Bring layers or a blanket if you tend to get cold.
WHAT TO BRING
Water bottle • Journal • Pen • Comfortable clothing • Extra layer/blanket, pillow
Most importantly, come without expectations.
You don’t need to make anything happen or have a particular experience.
Come curious. Come open. Come exactly as you are.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
With warmth,
