Your insight. Your community. Shaping local health together.
About this Event

About the event

How can we work together to improve health and wellbeing for local communities?

Join us for the Neighbourhood Health Voices session for Aylesbury communities to share your insights and communities’ experience of health and care, learn more about the Neighbourhood Health programme and plans for Neighbourhood Mental Health Centres to bring health and care closer to communities in Aylesbury.

This event is for voluntary, community, social enterprise and faith organisations working with people in Aylesbury. We are particularly keen to hear from those supporting communities experiencing health inequalities.

The sessions will provide an opportunity to hear the latest updates on plans to improve how health and care services work together locally, learn more about health priorities in your area and share your experiences of the support available to local communities. Most importantly, it will give local community organisations a space to share their experiences, and shape how future health services and support are developed.

You know your community. We want that knowledge, your voice and the experiences of your community to inform and shape better joined up health and care for people in Aylesbury.

We want to hear from you

The session will provide an opportunity to share your views and experiences on:

  • Local health and wellbeing needs: What are the main issues affecting the residents and communities you work with?
  • Access to services: What challenges or barriers do people experience when accessing physical and mental health support?
  • Improving local support: How could Neighbourhood Health services and support better respond to the needs of local residents?
  • Building stronger partnerships: How can community organisations and health services work together to build trust, improve access and develop solutions that reflect local needs?

Who should attend?

We welcome representatives from voluntary, community, social enterprise and faith organisations working with people in Aylesbury.

Whether your organisation provides direct support, helps people navigate health and care services, or has a wider understanding of local community needs, your contribution would be greatly valued.

Why attend?

This is an opportunity to:

  • Hear updates on the development of Neighbourhood Health and Neighbourhood Mental Health Centres.
  • Share your organisation's experiences, insights and priorities.
  • Help highlight health inequalities and barriers faced by local residents.
  • Build relationships with other community organisations and health and care teams.
  • Contribute to an ongoing, two-way conversation between the VCSE sector and health and care services.

We want this forum to be more than an information-sharing session. It is an opportunity for local organisations to influence conversations, ensure community experiences are heard and help shape health and care services that better reflect the needs of residents.

Your insight matters. Join us to share your experiences, strengthen local partnerships and help shape the future of health and care in Aylesbury.
