About this Event
Meet your neighbors. Help feed your neighbors.
Community grows when we show up for each other. On November 17, we’re bringing people together to make new friends and help provide warm meals for neighbors experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Cache Valley.
The Human Connect Project is partnering with the W.A.B. Warming Center for Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a speed-friending fundraiser at Home Range Brewing. All event proceeds, will go toward the Warming Center’s food costs.
What to expect
You’ll meet other attendees through guided small-group conversations, rotating throughout the evening so you have a chance to connect with different people. We’ll provide conversation prompts and explain everything when you arrive.
Come on your own or bring a friend. You don’t need to be outgoing or know anyone beforehand, everyone is coming to meet people, and we’ll help you get started.
This is a friendship event, open to adults of all genders ages 21 and older.
What your ticket supports
The Warming Center provides a warm, safe place for neighbors experiencing homelessness to spend the night. Providing breakfast and dinner is part of caring for the people who come through its doors.
$180 provides breakfast and dinner for approximately 45 guests.
Your ticket helps fund those meals while creating an opportunity to build connections right here in our community.
A whole month of neighbors helping neighbors
This event is part of The Human Connect Project’s November fundraiser supporting the W.A.B. Warming Center’s food costs. From November 1–30, individuals and local businesses can contribute, whether or not they attend the event.
Every contribution helps us work toward the same goal: funding as many meals as possible for our neighbors.
Join us for a night of new connections and a chance to care for the community we share.
