Join Neighborhood Centers and HomeBrewed for a family-friendly afternoon of live music and community support at Tavern Blue!HomeBrewed will perform its signature mix of bluesy rock ’n’ roll originals and covers. Guests can also participate in a silent auction featuring unique items and family-friendly experiences. Tavern Blue’s full menu and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Proceeds will support a new playground at the Towncrest Neighborhood Center, our newest location on the east side of Iowa City. The playground will provide children and families with a safe, welcoming place to play, connect and grow.
Take a look inside the new Towncrest Neighborhood Center and see the space where this playground will serve children, families and neighbors for years to come.
Neighborhood Centers works together with neighbors and neighborhoods to build better futures through education, outreach and inclusive programs that celebrate diversity, strengthen families and create safe spaces for community.
This event is free and open to everyone. No ticket or RSVP is required. If you plan to join us, selecting “I Plan to Attend” will help us plan and allow us to send you an event reminder. Guests will have opportunities to support the Towncrest playground through donations and the silent auction.
