Discover how the space you remove can become one of the most interesting parts of your jewelry design.In Negative Space Earrings, you’ll design a pair of earrings using texturing, sweat soldering, and sawing techniques. You’ll explore the relationship between metal and open space while bringing individual design elements together into a finished pair of earrings.
This intermediate-level class is designed for makers ready to build on their existing bench experience. Kim St. Jean will guide you as you combine design decisions with hands-on fabrication techniques.
Kim is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of jewelry-making teaching experience.
