Art Zone – Needle‑Felting Demo & Q&A with Kim Kirton of KK Cuddly Collectibles

As part of the Commercial Street Night Market, Pacific Arts Market is excited to welcome needle‑felting artist Kim Kirton for a series of hands‑on, behind‑the‑scenes evenings in our brand‑new Gallery at 460 Wallace St., right at the head of Commercial Street.
Our Art Zone programming runs every Thursday from 5:30–7:30pm, bringing live demos, interactive experiences, and creative discovery to the heart of downtown Nanaimo.
Across four feature nights, Kim will guide you through the needle‑felting process — showing how a simple bundle of wool roving transforms into a fully formed critter with sculpted parts, careful assembly, and charming finishing details. Guests are welcome to bring their own needle‑felting projects or technique questions for personalized guidance and troubleshooting.
This is a relaxed, welcoming, all‑ages experience. Drop in, watch the magic unfold, chat with Kim, and learn from an artist who brings warmth, skill, and a love of storytelling to her craft.
The Art Zone is open to everyone — come soak up the creativity and be part of the momentum in our new Gallery.
