Make a felted painting in Old Town Edinburgh. We are delighted to be able to offer needle felting in gorgeous 17th century surroundings
About this Event

Join artist Jenni Thomson for 2 hours of needle felting in the heart of Edinburgh. You will be provided with everything you need to make a felted picture and given instruction and confidence on how to do it.

You will be part of a small group, in beautiful 17th century surroundings at the wonderful Whole Works. This would be a good opportunity to learn a new skill, relax and create. You will be making an image roughly A5 is size, feel free to bring a reference photo or use one provided by Jenni.

We will be using real sheeps wool, so be mindful if you have allergies. The felting needles are sharp and require deterity, if you have the ability to hold a pencil you will be able to felt. The building is accessed by a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, it has not wheelchair access, and the Close itself is steep, as it is very much in the Old Town. There is no parking facilities, we would recommend travelling on foot or by bus to access.

This is a group for people 18 years or older. There will be a short form to complete upon arrival.
