Come enjoy the holiday season and learn how to create a wool sculpted needle felt ornament . In addition, gain experience in learning the ancient technique of wet felting to shrink the wool further. Create an ornament in class and take home wet felted ball to finish at your leisure. Numerous examples will be provided as inspiration. These wool ornaments make great gifts, package embellishments or beautiful decorations on a tree. No prior experience necessary. Learn from local fiber artist and Instructor, Sarah Summers of Summers’ Serendipity.
A materials kit including needles, scissors, awl, finger protectors, felting pad, and wool will be provided by the instructor. All wool and supplies come in a handy carry tote.
Please note *** A materials fee of $35 per student is due to the instructor at the start of the class.
If you have a kit from Summers’ Serendipity from a previous workshop, bring it with you and pay a materials fee of $10.00 for the wool.
