We will begin indoors in the Prairie Rose room on the upper level of the Memorial Union. Vice Provost Laura Oster-Aaland is scheduled to deliver welcoming remarks, with a keynote address by NDSU Registrar and North Dakota Army National Guard veteran, Kim Gourneau. We also expect to have an official from the North Dakota National Guard providing some remarks (pending confirmation), and student soloists performing the National Anthem and the Sounding of Taps.
To conclude the ceremony (weather permitting), attendees will be invited to reassemble at the flag plaza outside the Memorial Union’s south entrance for a brief flag raising ceremony performed by the honor guard from American Legion Post 21 (Moorhead, MN).
This event is free and open to the public. @followers
