In celebration of Fire Prevention Week 2026, October 4th-10th, North Charleston Fire Department is preparing a safety event for this year’s theme “Charge Into Fire Safety™. Safe Charging Is a Superpower”. The campaign focuses on everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires and keep homes and communities safer. Our annual event will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 10am to 1pm at the Charleston Area Convention Center, Lot E (5001 Coliseum Dr, North Charleston, SC 29418).
We are inviting our community to enjoy apparatus displays from multiple agencies, a children’s section, educational booths, live demonstrations, food trucks, and great entertainment!
