Get ready for a sweet evening of free candy, festive fun, and community spirit at the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction’s Fourth Annual Candy & Cars Trunk or Treat!

Bring the entire family and enjoy:
- Incredibly creative, festively decorated vehicles—past guests have called our Trunk or Treat the best they’ve ever attended!
- Plenty of FREE candy
- A DJ playing family-friendly music
- Face painting
- Delicious food trucks
- Family-friendly costumes
- Community fun—and more!
Candy & Cars offers families a safe, organized, and festive alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Children can follow a designated path to visit creatively decorated trunks filled with candy and surprises while parents and caregivers enjoy a welcoming, community-centered environment.
We will also host a food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to help support individuals and families in need throughout our community.
Costumes are encouraged but should be appropriate for a family-friendly event.
Admission is free. We look forward to celebrating with you!
