About this Event
Discover our coastal wildlife with this bumper session, combining seashore discovery and pop-up science laboratory activities. The tide will be in, so we'll be using binoculars to spot coastal birds and look for passing seals. We'll explore the top of the beach, searching the strandline to look for interesting, rocks, shells and fossils. Help to collect some samples to bring back to the centre, where you can investigate and find out more in our pop-up laboratory. Use microscopes and simple experiments and investigations to find out all about our coastal habitats and wildlife.
