About this Event
Has your little one just started school, or are they about to? Are you ready to focus on your career again, but not sure how to make it work around the school day?
In this practical session, Amy Grilli, co-founder of Five Hour Club, is joined by career coach Susie Powis to take you through the three stages of a school-hours career:
1. Finding the job. Where to look for genuinely flexible work, how to spot the red and green flags in job adverts, and when to ask for flexibility in the hiring process.
2. Maintaining your career. What working between school hours really looks like, how to make it sustainable, and what the latest flexible working guidance means for you.
3. Progressing part-time. How to stay visible, build your case for a promotion and negotiate for it, without having to go back to full-time.
Throughout the session, Susie will share coaching advice on the conversations that feel hardest, so you leave knowing what to say and when.
Whether you’re returning from maternity leave, feeling stuck in a role that no longer fits, or wondering how to grow your career on fewer hours, this session is for you.
The first 30 mums will also receive a free Return to Work Manifesto from The Manifesto Studio, plus exclusive Five Hour Club goodies to support their next chapter at work.
