About this Event
About
The games industry is changing, and so are the roles, skills, opportunities and ways of working within it. In this workshop, we will take uncertainty and change as a given and explore ways of working with it.
You will work with future scenarios created by the core group of the Collaborative Foresight cycle on Futures of Games. Using these scenarios as different lenses on what the industry could become, you will explore questions about your own direction, choices, capabilities and aspirations.
You will work on your own professional journey, side-by-side with others in the industry. Along the way, there will be opportunities to exchange perspectives, learn from each other's processes and discover ideas and possibilities you might not have considered on your own.
By the end of the workshop, you will translate your reflections into intentions and concrete next steps for navigating and contributing to the future ahead.
Participating
This workshop is both for people in the games industry and people planning to enter it.
You might be wondering where you want to go next, how changes in the industry could affect your work, what capabilities you want to develop, or what kind of games industry you want to help create.
