From curious first graders to folks with decades of wonder under their belts—everyone is invited!
Join us Monday mornings starting September 14 for a gentle, creative hour exploring nature through words, sketches, and curiosity. No art or science experience needed—just bring yourself and your sense of wonder—all art supplies are provided!
We’ll take time to notice the small details—the curl of a leaf, the path of an ant, the way sunlight pools on a petal—and capture them in our own unique way.
📅 When: Monday mornings in September
📍 Where: Main Ranch House at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park
🕒 Time: 8:45 am
🎒 Bring: If you have your journal from a previous class bring it. Otherwise, Just you—supplies are provided! If you have your own favorite tool bring it.
Come ready to saunter, be still, look closely, and let nature inspire your time in the desert.
The Nature Journal program is included in your park entrance fee. $10.00 per vehicle for NV residents, $15.00 per vehicles for nonresidents. The annual Park pass can be purchased at any Nevada State Park for $100.00 and covers your entrance fees at all Nevada State Parks.
Nevada State Parks is committed to providing accessible experiences for all visitors. If you need a reasonable communication accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the park or event coordinator no later than 10 days in advance so we have time to work with you and support your visit
