About this Event
Urban green spaces can provide an important refuge for wildlife, often supporting a surprising variety of species that can easily be overlooked in our day-to-day lives.
As we wander through St Mary’s Gardens with Discover The Wild's Dave Winnard, we’ll take the time to look more closely at the nature around us, exploring the plants growing along the paths and in the grasslands, searching for fungi, and keeping an eye and ear open for the birds and other wildlife that make use of the site.
This will be a relaxed and informative walk, suitable for anyone with an interest in the natural world, whether you are completely new to wildlife identification or simply want to learn more about the species on your doorstep.
