📢 WELCOME! Do you love fashion, beauty, glamour, and natural light portraiture photography? Then you're going to love this!
Our vision for this photography meetup is to build our portfolios while sharpening our skills and forming the connections essential to deepening our love for amazing photography. We'll also explore how to express that passion through final edits and decide where and how to showcase our work.
Each of our photography meetups is intentionally held at scenic locations that are wonderfully rich areas to shoot solo. So come to photograph the area itself, network with and shoot alongside like-minded models, or bring your own muse. However you choose to participate, come, shoot, and share your experience in whatever way suits you best.
📌 Meetup Notes:
Date & Time: Saturday, June 13, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: 315 W Montrose Harbor Dr, Chicago
* This is not a rotational-model photoshoot, so please be mindful of other photographers who may want one-on-one time with a model you're working with.
* We strongly encourage photographers and models attending this meetup to engage in the discussion section of the event page beforehand. Feel free to share past experiences with the location, ideas for poses or concepts, portfolio links, and inspirational material (properly credited where appropriate).
* During the meetup itself, there will be no set schedule for pairings or locations, everything will be based on mutual agreements made in advance via the discussion chats or on-site day of the meetup.
* We strongly encourage everyone to respect others' personal space and boundaries, especially those set by models. Healthy, professional communication is always appreciated.
* We strongly discourage anyone who cannot respect boundaries and reserve the right to remove participants from the event page and the physical event (as well as any future events) if needed.
* And, lastly, let's have fun in a relaxed atmosphere! Make new contacts, create friendships, capture great photography, and share the experience. Bring good energy, kindness, and creativity—and leave better than when we came!

❗BONUS:
In addition to the standard "shoot and share" spirit of these meetups, anyone involved is encouraged to submit work from the event to UNBOUND Magazine for possible publication. As the main host of this event, UNBOUND Magazine will give your submission strong consideration, with full photographer/model and event credits added. While not every submission is guaranteed acceptance (for a variety of reasons), UNBOUND aims to publish selected work to help promote the creativity and effort behind it.
📝 Submission Guidelines for UNBOUND Magazine:
Please submit images without watermarks (credits will be added by the magazine). Minimum requirements:
* File formats: JPG, PNG, or TIF
* Color profile: sRGB
* Minimum resolution (at 300 dpi):
* Portrait: 8.5 × 11 in (2550 × 3300 px)
* Landscape: 17 × 11 in (5100 × 3300 px)
