Natural History Linocut Workshop
Saturday, November 7 · 1:00–4:00 PM
Le Réacteur — Québec City
731 Rue Saint-Vallier E, Québec, QC G1K 3P9
Spend an afternoon exploring the world of natural history illustration through linocut printing!
In this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of linocut while creating your own nature-inspired stamp. Think plants, insects, frogs, birds, fungi, or whatever little piece of the natural world inspires you.
No previous printmaking experience is needed — I’ll guide you through the process from designing and carving your block to inking and printing your final artwork.
What’s included
Your ticket includes all materials needed for the workshop, including:
- Linocut carving blocks
- Carving tools
- Printing inks
- Paper for printing
- Everything you need to create your own stamp and prints
And the best part? You get to take your carved stamp and your prints home with you! You’ll leave with your own original artwork and the skills to keep experimenting with linocut at home.
