About this Event
Join us for a Natural Dye Class featuring local Natural Dyers, Carin Randall of Gwenyn Hill Fibers and Ethan Pyle of Refracted Light Fiber Arts! Participants will dive into the basics of natural dye! Students will learn the process from fiber prep to exploring foraged plant materials and natural dye extracts. One skein from each dyer will be included in material fees, with extra available for purchase. Each participant will come away with the understanding of the step by step natural dye processes, reference material to experiment with the natural dye process on your own and two naturally dyed skeins of their own!
Materials fee: $45 for two skeins of yarn, mordants, dyes
