About this Event
Christmas Wreath
There is a certain beauty in weaving, the smell of the willow, the feel of the bark, seeing your very own creation grow in front of your eyes.
This will be a half day workshop where you'll have the opportunity to learn about different weaving materials, how to collect and prepare them and most importantly on this day, how to weave a round wreath and how to decorate it with natural materials.
If you have a favourite ribbon that you'd like to decorate your wreath, please do bring it with you but don't worry if you don't have one, there will be plenty to choose from.
Rowenna has over 20 years of experience in leading workshops and is an experienced Arts in Health practitioner, having worked in the private and public sector leading workshops and creating commissioned work from simple baskets to 8' snowdrops.
The workshop will be held near Bala, nestled between the Berwyn hills and the legendary Llyn Tegid.
