Natives in the City: Ribbon Skirt Workshop
Join the Durango Indigenous Kinship Initiative for a hands-on Ribbon Skirt Workshop led by Diné entrepreneur and artist Moriah Arthur of Masani's Beauty. and our Kinship Host Savage M,llc.
Learn about the cultural significance of ribbon skirts while creating your own in a welcoming, community-centered space. Fabric and ribbons will be provided. Limited sewing machines are available; participants are encouraged to bring their own if possible.
Connect with culture, creativity, and community while building new skills and relationships.
