It's Friday the 13th!! The day honored for Freya, the Norse goddess of fertility, beauty & war, for whom "Friday" is named! And for the number 13, held as sacred in Nordic pagan times, revered for its connection to the 13 lunar cycles of the year, and 13 menstrual cycles in a year. Friday the 13th was long celebrated as "Day of the Goddess" ~ a huge communal feast day, celebrating life, family, & creation, the divine feminine in us all, and the balance of grace and power contained in womanhood.
Join us as we reclaim the original celebration of Friday the 13th, as the Day of the Goddess! Refreshments, music, and guided meditation practice. Come dressed as you like, and enjoy the photo op in the elaborate regal throne experience, provided by Suz Nellis of Energy Weavers!
