The Elk Creek Township Historical Society hosts 2026's November session of the 5th Annual Speaker Series welcoming back Leon Sam Briggs, enrolled member of the Tonawanda Seneca Hawk Clan, who is an experienced Blacksmith and Historical Reproduction Specialist, and will be presenting on Native American Heritage Topics.This will be an informal presentation, so please feel free to come with questions as our atmosphere lends itself to be a cozy and comfortable safe space to ask questions and share your stories and experiences!
The event is planned to be held in person with a Live Feed available on our Facebook Page as long as our technology cooperates, but will be exclusively streamed online as a alternate option if we are unable to host in-person. This event is free, but donations are always appreciated and go directly towards the continuing maintenance, preservation, and restoration of The Little Church on the Hill by The Elk Creek Township Historical Society.
