The National Weather Festival (NWF) is the largest annual event hosted by the National Weather Center, attracting more than 4,000 guests each year. This free, family-friendly festival showcases the science and safety behind weather, featuring engaging activities for all ages.
Attendees can:
- Meet meteorologists from various organizations, including local news stations
- See helicopters and emergency vehicles up close
- Watch weather balloon launches
- See drone demonstrations from research partners
- Enjoy exciting displays and hands-on activities for all ages
