About this Event

Be prepared to save a life. Join us for National Safety Council First Aid, CPR, and AED training for mariners taught by mariners. The course will be taught by a Certified Chicago Maritime School, Race to Mackinac Mariner, and it will help you to act as a First Responder for medical emergencies on the water while you await professional assistance, if needed.

Participation in the class will automatically enter you into a drawing for one of 12 USCG-approved first aid kits offered by the Chicago Harbor Safety Committee. In addition, winners of one of those 12 awards will be presented with an AED to keep on their vessel.
