Romney Brown Candle Company | Downtown Grayslake, Illinois
If your holiday season could use a little more laughter and a lot more candle making, this night is for you.
Join Romney Brown Candle Company on December 12 from 6:00–8:00 PM for Movie Night: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation in downtown Grayslake.
We’re bringing together custom candle making, pizza, a sweet treat, and one of those Christmas movies that somehow gets funnier every year.
YOUR MOVIE NIGHT EXPERIENCE
Your Movie Night ticket includes candle making, an exclusive themed candle label and topper, pizza, a sweet treat, and our movie viewing.
First up: your candle.
Choose from our collection of 150+ clean fragrances to create a scent that is completely customized to you.
You’ll make your candle using our natural coconut soy wax, and our team will walk you through everything from fragrance selection to pouring.
No experience needed, no pressure to be crafty, and no requirement to choose a pre-selected holiday fragrance.
This is your candle.
We want you to make something you’ll actually be excited to take home and burn.
Your candle will also receive a special themed label and topper created for Movie Night, giving you a fun keepsake from the evening.
Then it’s time to settle in with pizza, a sweet treat, and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
Come ready to laugh.
RETURNING MOVIE NIGHT GUESTS — SAVE $15
Have an old Romney Brown Movie Night candle vessel sitting at home?
Bring it back and get $15 off this Movie Night ticket!
Purchase your ticket at the regular price just like normal. This ensures your seat is officially reserved.
Then bring your qualifying previous Movie Night vessel with you on December 12.
When you arrive with your vessel, we will refund $15 from your ticket purchase.
There is no separate returning-guest ticket and no promo code needed.
Your vessel must be brought to the event in order to receive the $15 refund.
Reuse that vessel, make another candle, and turn Movie Night into your new tradition.
CANDLE MAKING WE CARE ABOUT
A candle-making experience should be about more than checking an activity off your list.
We care about what goes into the candle you’re taking home.
That’s why Romney Brown uses natural coconut soy wax and clean fragrances and gives you access to more than 150 fragrance choices to make your candle truly custom.
Our team is there to guide you, answer questions, help with fragrance combinations, and make the whole experience feel approachable — even if you’ve never made a candle in your life.
There’s nowhere else that cares about your candle-making experience quite like we do.
MAKE IT YOUR HOLIDAY NIGHT OUT
Bring your partner, your friends, your family, your coworkers, or whoever can quote half the movie already.
For anyone searching for holiday things to do in Illinois, Christmas activities in Lake County, unique date nights in the Chicago suburbs, candle making in Grayslake, or a fun holiday day trip from Chicago, Movie Night is a pretty great excuse to get out of the house.
Advance reservations are required and seating is limited.
IMPORTANT — ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL
MOVIE NIGHT TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
As a small business, we plan these events around the exact number of guests who reserve seats.
We schedule staff, purchase food and treats, prepare candle-making supplies, produce themed labels and toppers, organize seating, and complete additional event preparation in advance.
Those costs remain whether or not a ticket holder ultimately attends.
For that reason, refunds cannot be provided due to illness, work conflicts, childcare problems, transportation issues, weather, emergencies, travel delays, changes in plans, purchasing the incorrect event, another guest in your party being unable to attend, forgetting your reservation, arriving late, or any other personal circumstance.
Unless Romney Brown Candle Company specifically announces that Movie Night has been canceled, the event should be considered scheduled to proceed.
Our $15 returning-vessel promotion is the only applicable promotional refund and does not override this policy. You must attend and physically bring your qualifying previous Movie Night vessel to receive the $15 refund.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Join us December 12 from 6:00–8:00 PM for candles, Christmas chaos, pizza, something sweet, and one seriously fun holiday Movie Night in downtown Grayslake.
