MAKE-YOUR-OWN WINTER SHELTER DEMONSTRATIONS!
Want to help outdoor cats stay warm but don't know where to begin? Come learn how to make an affordable, insulated winter shelter using simple materials!

THE ANNA SHELTER — PROUD FIXERIE LEADERS!
Alongside Erie Animal Network, The ANNA Shelter leads the FixErie program, bringing collaboration, experience and a shared commitment together to improve the lives of community cats throughout our area.
NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE REAL HEROES OF THIS DAY.
They're the people you rarely hear about.
The woman who buys cat food before she buys something for herself.
The gentleman who shovels a path through the snow because hungry little faces are waiting at the end of it.
The neighbor who spends hours trying to trap one frightened cat so it can be spayed or neutered.
The caregiver who lies awake during a winter storm, wondering if the cats made it through the night.
Rain. Snow. Ice. Freezing temperatures.
Because somewhere out there, a cat is depending on them.
TO EVERY COMMUNITY CAT CAREGIVER IN ERIE COUNTY…
WE SEE YOU.
WE APPRECIATE YOU.
AND THIS DAY IS FOR YOU! ❤️
We want you to have access to resources, education, supplies and organizations that understand the challenges you face.
We want to make helping community cats a little easier.
And most importantly, we want you to know that you are NOT doing this alone!
Whether you care for ONE outdoor cat or an entire colony, we are here with resources!
Erie winters are unforgiving.
But compassion is powerful.
And when rescue organizations, businesses, volunteers and neighbors join forces, we can make a tremendous difference.
BECAUSE COMMUNITY CATS MAY NOT HAVE A PERSON TO CALL THEIR OWN…
BUT THEY HAVE A WHOLE COMMUNITY WILLING TO STAND UP FOR THEM. ❤️🐾
