Kenya is Set to Celebrate the National Customer Service Week 2026
The Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of Public Service, State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development, in collaboration with the Kenya School of Government (KSG), is coordinating the National Customer Service Week (NCSW) 2026. The exercise is taking place from today Monday 5th to Friday 9th October 2026 at Uhuru Park Nairobi, under the Theme: Extra Mile; Transforming Public Service Through Customer Service Excellence.
The initiative provides a national platform for Government Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to engage citizens, showcase service-delivery innovations and reforms, share good practices and strengthen a culture of responsive and citizen-centred public service.
The five-day programme has been organised around the five pillars of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) namely:
1. Agriculture Transformation and Food Security;
2. Universal Health Coverage
3. Affordable Housing and Urban Development
4. Digital Superhighway and Creative Economy
5. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs
Each Pillar will provide a platform for the responsible Ministries, Departments and Agencies to demonstrate achievements, engage citizens and showcase services, reforms and innovations relevant to their mandates.
Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer service and the people who serve and support customers daily. Public Service is Customer Service.
